Christopher Melkonian

Staff Accountant

Christopher Melkonian is the staff accountant at the General Board of Church and Society. In his role, he manages the agency’s financial ledger for donations, investments, payroll, staff spending and building-related transactions. He also supports accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Before joining the General Board of Church and Society, Christopher taught mathematics and computer science to students in middle and high school.

“I appreciate opportunities to create or to be a part of inclusive communities that are accepting and supportive of each other’s physical, social, cultural and psychological differences,” Christopher said.

Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.

He likes to travel and explore new areas – and especially enjoys camping, spending time outdoors and checking out new eateries.
