Wednesday Witness

Wednesday Witness is a virtual platform that uses relevant and timely conversation on social issues and advocacy skill-building sessions to equip and build the capacity of United Methodists to create social change in their communities and world.

2023 Skill-building Series

Beginning February 2023 Wednesday Witness will debut a four-part skill building series that will deepen the capacity of United Methodists to advocate for justice with their decision-makers.

Featuring Church and Society’s Creating Change Together Civic Engagement toolkit, each session will provide a one-hour deep dive into one specific advocacy tactic to create change. Each session will include instruction followed by practice and sharing with other United Methodists ready to create social change.

Part Four: Advocate Through Public Witness

In part four we will focus on advocacy through public witness. Sharing our call for justice in the public square is a transformative advocacy tool that creates collective awareness, invites others to join the call for justice, and holds decision makers accountable.
