United Methodist Building Rental Request

Thank you for your interest in renting space in the United Methodist Building.

The United Methodist Building has several meeting rooms and a chapel available for rent.

The conference rooms and chapel are available 9 a.m. — 10 p.m. Please note, additional fees apply for rentals after 5 p.m., on weekends or on holidays.

Available Facilities

Rooms 1 & 2: Seats up to 80 people.
(Rooms 1 & 2 can also be split up to make two smaller rooms.)

Room 3: Seats up to 30.

Room 4 (The Wilson Room): Seats up to 20.

Room 103 (In the 110 Maryland Avenue Building): Seats up to 15.
(Room 103 is not available on weekends or holidays)

The Simpson Memorial Chapel: Seats up to 60.

Rental Fees

Rental fees are per room per day. Rooms 1 and 2 are considered one room.

Tenants of The United Methodist Building (100 & 110 Maryland Ave., NE)

Four or more hours, weekdays: $100
Less than four hours, weekdays: $50
Weekends & Holidays: $100

Outside Nonprofits

Four or more hours, weekdays: $250
Less than four hours, weekdays: $150
Weekend & Holidays: $250

Commercial Organizations

Four or more hours, weekdays: $350
Less than four hours, weekdays: $200
Weekend & holidays: $350

Weddings

The Simpson Memorial Chapel is available on weekends for weddings. The rental fee is $350.

Security & Kitchen fees

Any reservation on weekends, on holidays, or that including hours after 5 p.m. on weekdays requires hired security personnel. The rate for security is $40 per hour, with a four hour minimum. This is in addition to the fees listed above.

There is a $100 fee to use our kitchen.

Technology fees

Your rental includes free wireless.

Additional equipment is available for rent. This equipment is only available weekdays 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Conference phone: $50
LCD Projector: $200
Projector Screen: $75
Microphone podium: $100
Conference style set-up (1 stand-alone and/or wireless microphone and three to four table microphones): $250
