Apply now: Wendland Fellowship for Faith and Justice

The Wendland Fellowship for Faith and Justice is a twelve month fellowship designed to resource and equip United Methodists for social change. The fellowship is part of a two year Advocates for Justice Initiative focused in two annual conferences (North Texas and Central Texas annual conferences).


The Advocates for Justice Initiative aims to support United Methodists in these two conferences to identify key social issues impacting communities and to gain skills and capacity to address the ongoing work of justice and peace.

Successful candidates for this fellowship will be individuals who are interested in faith and public witness and who want to link public policy efforts with local grassroots mobilization on social issues. Experience with the Central Texas and North Texas area is preferred.

This fellowship is time limited not to exceed 12 months with a start of Fall 2019.

Compensation includes $36,000, benefits, and housing.
