National Grassroots Organizing Training

October 1–3, 2025 | Baltimore, MD

The General Board of Church and Society (GBCS), in collaboration with United Women in Faith, Organizing for Mission Network, Baltimore Washington Annual Conference Advocacy and Action Team and the Eastern Pennsylvania Annual Conference, is offering a National Grassroots Organizing Training.

This will be a transformative, faith-rooted experience for United Methodist leaders ready to take action for justice in their local communities.

Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the United Methodist Social Principles, this training is a call to faithful action. Participants will gain practical skills, spiritual grounding, and a strong theological foundation to confront injustice and organize for systemic change.

Justice is not a solo journey. It is collective. It is relational. It is deeply spiritual. Organizing is a way to live out our faith by building communities rooted in dignity, equity, and shared power.
