Support Chrysalis at All Levels of the Church

2016 Book of Resolutions, #2101

Whereas, this is a ministry given to us from the Upper Room; and

Whereas, this brings a spiritual awareness of Jesus Christ to our youth in a unique, loving, patient, and kind way; and

Whereas, we rejoice in the truth which is revealed in this effort to involve our youth in a very important ministry in the Chrysalis movement; and

Whereas, youth may return to their local churches and be present and future leaders of the church,

Therefore, be it resolved, that:

The General Conference urge all annual conferences to increase their efforts and resources in the Chrysalis movement so that the youth of our churches know and are in touch with Christ; and
The General Conference encourage churches to enlist and involve their youth, girls and boys, in the life and work of Chrysalis so that they may return and be leaders within their own congregations.

Furthermore, General Conference encourages the General Board of Discipleship and Upper Room ministries to continue their emphasis on Chrysalis.
