Wednesday Witness: Advocate Through Public Witness (June 2023)

Our Wednesday Witness for June 2023 will focus on best practices for an effective public witness.

WW - Public Witness

In February 2023, Wednesday Witness began a four-part skill building series that will deepen the capacity of United Methodists to advocate for justice with their decision-makers.

Part Four will focus on advocacy through public witness. Sharing our call for justice in the public square is a transformative advocacy tool that creates collective awareness, invites others to join the call for justice, and holds decision makers accountable.

Featuring Church and Society’s Creating Change Together Civic Engagement toolkit, each session provides a one-hour deep dive into one specific advocacy tactic to create change and will include instruction followed by practice and sharing with other United Methodists ready to create social change.

Instructions on how to participate via Zoom will be sent in a Confirmation Email after Registering.
