Church and Society's store
Did you know that Church and Society has a store? While all resources that Church and Society offers are available as free downloadable documents, professionally produced materials are available for purchase.
In the store, we have 34 varieties of Faith and Facts cards. These cards cover issues from non-proliferation to immigration, mental health to climate justice, and hunger and poverty to domestic violence. Each card highlights Bible passages, excerpts from UMC statements, some relevant facts and figures, and action items that individuals can take to work for peace and justice.
Some churches use these cards as bulletin inserts, while others use them in an adult education hour.
In the store, you can purchase 25 cards for $1.00. You are also able to purchase a ring of cards that includes one of each variety for $4.00.
Also in the store is a series called Living Our Principles. This series showcases the lived experience of United Methodists across the connection who embody the words of the Social Principles.
Living Our Principles is available on our YouTube channel, but can be purchased as a set of three DVDs. Especially for our churches that may not have internet strength capable of streaming videos, the DVDs still allow churches to view the content.
This set of three DVDs is $15.00.
Along with the Faith and Facts cards and the Living Our Principles DVDs, Church and Society’s store also contains a poster and a Bible study on gun violence.
