Rick Reinhard

Chief Administrative Officer

Rick guides the work of Church and Society to run with more planning, purpose and accountability. He has spent most of his career achieving the same for cities, managing public-private partnerships in Washington, D.C., Houston, Richmond, Buffalo, Atlanta, and Northern Ireland.

After decades in the secular world, Richard transitioned from issues of urban economic development to matters of United Methodist faith. He brings degrees from William and Mary, Rice University and a fellowship from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and has taught urban planning and public policy at six major research universities. Active in his local church, Richard felt called to devote his knowledge and talents to the work of The United Methodist Church.
